fifth, home alone

週六上課見到復課第二堂的偉文.張。出來工作一年,感覺他做人較成熟了。繼 "THE eighth/eleventh days of christmas" 而來的精警:這套莎劇是"Henry the Fifth" 而不是 "Henry five."

First rehearsal: Simon Kenway was superb in first impression. Look how is he able to guide the choristers, even he has a super-weary voice. And what a great repetiteur or accompanist, undeniably he's among the best chorusmasters in this city.

And I did not know H was in that group...... so I am actually bad in remembering faces!!

一日HKPO, 一日CU Chorus, 差別大得真係有點感觸。情歌,包括音樂劇和老歌,其實很對我路子,怕且是兩次音樂會以來最想唱的歌。不過,如果素養未足,唱不出原本韻味,反有被糟塌之感就不好了。

我覺得唱假音唔係點幫到呢班團員,咁既聲唱乜鬼RENT, 唱帝女花咪好。唔覺得佢地get指揮示範緊乜,對好音壞音的差別也不在意。聲音中的細微分別﹑頭頂共鳴﹑鼻腔運用有必要解釋清楚。我估唔到自己幾時會聽那種尖扁的聲音聽到怕。

講起呢樣野,SK 教亨利五世教左三粒鐘,講來講去都係講點樣去打開﹑點解要打開。邊個母音要點變,邊粒音係過渡區要特別注意。唱錯的,再唱對的,知道咩叫錯就更知甚麼是對。每粒音都唔可以扁,唔可以前,要執正。(團長對我說:唱了一晚,就是不斷開大口腔﹑開大口腔。)當然兩面團員受過的訓練唔同啦,但 SK 講的野如果可以錄低係中大呢邊播一次,同佢地練一次,就好了。

爸媽妹黎緊八日去日本京都玩,六月三號返。屈指一算,呢段的日子其實晚晚都有野做:排練完表演之後去choir生日會,亦都唔駛怕悶勒......
