The article in the Guardian refers to the review that I quoted in an
earlier post. As I said then, there certainly some booing, but it was
drowned out by (inappropriate!!) "Bravos" from a far larger contingent.
And as little Jimmy points out, Netrebko is quite good, but I would
not pay even for a "Family Circle" seat ($15) just to hear her sing one
note. Or even one aria. The other opera critic at The Sun was Jay
Nordlinger, who I believe would have produced a more accurate review.
